The Boardwalk

Lelouch smiled and turned back to Kate, and hugged her again, and kissed her lightly, ignored the others presents, as he did so

Lelouch went over to help Ame up, "Are you okay?" he asked kindly, "You gunna have to watch out for them" he said smiling

Ame giggled and nodded, "Totally fine." she said standing up with his help. "Thanks."

"No problem" he said smiling

Ame sneezed and rubbed her nose, "Someone is wearing to much perfume."

Looled at himself, and blinked "What? you mean me?" he said, and giving himself a small sniff

Berry walked onto the boardwalk and turns on her ipod and hops on railing and dances as she walks

Akira walked onto the boardwalk, watching the day sun set. He straighten up his posture and paused his movements. He let out a light sigh and turned his head towards the horizons.

Admittedly, I miss being here...

Although, it wasn't the scenery he missed. It was the friends he made. He felt like after his long trip, he needed to start over and return to his habitual life. As habitual as it seems, there were little things in the days that made it better for him. In general, life better.

Daemon came running down the boardwalk with a slip of paper in his hand. His hair was completely a mess from the running he was currently doing. His face a bit flushed from the heated weather, it gave him a healthy glow for a change of pace. He looked off towards the side to look at the sun, "I think I can mak--" his words were abruptly cut off.

He fell on the hard wood and winced, "I am so sorry. I wasn't watching where--Akira?" he asked in an unsure voice. He looked up at blinked, "Eh?"

He blinked, fixing his hat slightly. His face lit up in surprise while a bright smile curved onto his face. He bent down, and lean his cheek on his hand. He laughed slightly at his clumsiness and looked at him.

"Dae-kun? Is that really you!?" He stood up and extended his hand, offering to assist him. "Why are you in such a rush?"

Daemon rubbed his eye with his free hand, "Eto...It really is you!" he exclaimed in surprise with a hint of happiness. His eyes sparkled with new found happiness, "Aki-kun!" he said taking his hand. He stood up and brushed his clothes off and fixed his hair.

"I was delivering a letter or well a list of things for one of the vendors." he said as he searched for the said object, "Which I do believe I have lost it." He sighed and placed his hands on Akira's shoulders, "Where have you been? I have missed you!"

He laughed a bit and turned his gaze to him.

"I just went to visit my brother for a few weeks. I was starting to miss him, so I just dropped by and bonded." He sighed and continued. "Although I missed Ouran, and you as well." He smiled at Daemon and hugged him.

Daemon looked to the side for a moment with a small, unnoticeable blush across his face. He was silent for a moment before looking back at Akira, "How was the visit?" he asked. He dug in his pocket for a moment.

"Who did you miss the most?" he asked still searching for something in his pocket. "Where could it be. I put it in my pocket this morning..." he mumbled to himself. He sighed in frustration, "Eto, I bought you something from Italy and Ame got you something from Spain. It seems that I cannot find it."

He let go and rubbed his chin. It was a difficult question. It was natural for him to miss his brother since they were biologically related however, Ouran has brought out a better side of him. Its hard to not love them both.

"I honestly don't know Dae-kun." He blinked and smiled faintly. "Really? You didn't have to you know. I feel pretty bad since I never got you two anything from my trip.

Daemon rubbed the back of his head and gave an off smile, "No it's alright. I thought it would be nice to bring something back from Italy. Ame did it by herself." he said. He closed his eyes and sighed, "Its been lonely around here since you and Ichi-san haven't been coming around."

He opened one eye, "The teachers haven't exactly been here either. Things have been kinda slow lately."

(Ugh school... Look what you do to us)

"I haven't seen Ichirou in awhile. He must be busy with work again." faintly, he frowned. When Ichirou isn't around, it always means work.

As Always...

He turned back to Daemon and smiled brightly for him. "Arigato Dae-kun. I feel like I should do something to make it up to you."

(xD I enjoy it. Cause I get to see old friends and watch my dorkish neighbor get smushed by a senior)

Daemon pulled on the edges of his sleeves, "Ichirou has been warming up but since he left...who knows what might of happened to his attitude." he said before huffing. "Stupid sleeves..."

Lady always makes my damn sleeves longer than my arms! Same with my pants!

Daemon blinked in surprise, "What do you mean by that? I just got you gift that's all..." he said trailing off. He raised an eyebrow, "Akira did you get hit by a rock or something?"

(I enjoy in the beginning, but by the middle of the year, I'm gonna crash 8D. . .)

He blinked a little confused by Daemon's question.

"No, I just feel like I should repay you with something. I don't really like taking things that I can't pay back." He laughed slightly. "I don't know, did you?" Daemon seemed a little off to him, but it just might of been his personal perception of him today.

(Meh that's how most do it xD)

Daemon grabbed Akira's hand and smiled, "I don't need to be repaid. Having you as a friend and being able to see you again is good enough for me." he said in a caramel-sweet voice. He placed a finger on his lower lip, "Unless you really wanna repay be that badly I accept." he said in a childish manner.

Wonder why he seems different. Could just be me...I wonder...

Daemon brushed a strand of Akira's hair away from his eyes, "Your eyes got brighter...they are like..." he tapped his chin looking for the right word. "A bright emerald green--close to sea-foam green."

He blinked for a second and a small smirk curved on his face. "Don't tell me that you're flirting with me Dae-kun." He said very bluntly. His smirk sadden into a faint frown. "I'm afraid I can't repay you." He shook his head and tighten his hat a bit. Perhaps his trip changed him a bit. He had a bit of mixed emotions inside that he needed to unravel before doing anything careless.

Daemon let out a small laugh, "Who knows. After all this time I haven't seen you and you ask me that?" he said before whispering in his ear, "Akira, have you changed? You seem...different from our last meeting.." he said before smiling.

"How about I treat you to ice cream. You don't have to pay me back," he said looking around for the ice cream vendor.

He gulped and looked at him. "Its alright, I'm not all too hungry." His stomach was churning way to much to be in the mood to eat anything. "I don't know, what parts of me do you think changed Dae-kun?"

Daemon made a sad face. "The way you talk to me. Your not as...carefree. You seem to be holding back." he said running a hand through his hair, "Could just be me."

He looked at Akira with mixed emotions, "Have I changed to you as well?"

He laughed a bit and sighed. "I guess I have a lot on my mind now-a-days. Its hard to be carefree when you're your mind isn't "free of cares"." He smiled and looked at Daemon. "I guess you haven't changed. I think that's a good thing considering everything seems to be changing for me. I guess I'm trying to adjust into Ouran again is all."

Daemon closed his eyes, "Well...Everyone has theirs up's and down's," he said. He placed his hand on top of his head, "Good grief...Ouran has changed a lot more than you think."

He blinked twice, with a little spark of interest hit his eye. "Really? What exactly has changed?" He asked curiously. He didn't really like the idea of change, but I guess its because he's human, a creature of habit.

(I don't like the anime too much xD; I like the manga better.)
