The River...

Still so close to his face she looked from one of his eyes to the other.She wanted to see what his reaction would be when she answeres his question."You're waiting for someone special,correct me if I'm wrong."Kairi almost whispered.

Vertigo smiled. "So?" he moved closer, almost touching. "That doesn't mean I can't steal someone's kiss, does it?" he smirked. "After all, I'm no longer the Vertigo you know."

"So a simple kiss wouldn't matter to me."

"Ok then...if you're so different do it.I dare you..."Kairi said without moving as she was almost staring at him.Her smirk got even bigger if that was possible.

Vertigo blinked then immediately moved back and began shuffling his hair. "Ah! Darn it! What am I doing?"

Kairi looked at him and started laughing as she fell back."Told you you couldn't do it."She said stiil laughing.She then threw the bottle of chocolate to him while staring at the sky.

Vertigo stopped shuffling his hair, then looked at Kairi.
"Don't dare me. I always prove things that I can." he ignored the bottle of chocolate, and moved across her.

He held back of her neck as well as her chin. "I told you. I'm no longer Vertigo." he murmured, before meeting her lips with his, finally stealing her first kiss.

Kairi was shoked.Her eyes widen as her heart stopped.What the...?She deffinatly was suprised and didn't know what to do.Wasn't he wating for someone???

(^^uh-oh. i think i'm too sleepy that i'm no longer aware of what i'm typing. but oh well. i'll just see how it goes after i sleep and wake up tomorrow. lol. but i'm not going yet.^^)

Vertigo calmed his eyes, and finally moved back. "That's what you get for messing with my sweets." He looked at her with emotionless eyes. Then blinked. And blinked again.

"HOLY CRAP!" he exclaimed. "Oh god, did I just do that?! I'm so sorry!" he made multiple deep bows.

Kairi was still stunned by his actions and she just stared into the empty space now infront of her.She touched her lips and a really big blush appeared on her face.But she shook it off or atleast tried."N-no...it's no problem..."Kairi muttered.

Vertigo scratched the back of his head as he sighed. "That's.. I'm sorry. I can explain." he sighed and drank the bottle of chocolate since he became stressed out.

Kairi smiled and finally looked at him.She still didn't believe what happend but if she didn't pull it together Vertigo was going to feel bad so she just smiled."It's ok...I know it didn't mean anything."

Vertigo hugged his legs and whimpered. "It always does that to me." he mumbled like a child. "I'm sorry again." he murmured. "I still have this weird side that comes out often without me realizing it. Then when I finally snap back, I always find myself in a rather tight situation." he continued to sulk.

"Don't worry,it happens to the best of us."She said and stood up with another smile.Kairi ruffled his hair trying to acts as normal as possible.She walked into the river until the water reached her knees and looked down at her reflection not really seeing anything infront her."So.."She started with emotionless voice but then turned to him with a more cheerful tone."So you have split personality?"

Vertigo blinked then lowered his eyes. "Technically, somehow, yes. But I wasn't born with it." he sighed. "I developed it." he scratched back of his head and took another piece of cake from the plastic bag.

Kairi nodded and the cold water finally made her act normal.She walked back to where they were sited and sat down but still a little distant."Why?What made you develope it?"

Vertigo began munching the cake as he looked at Kairi. "Remember the evil prince?" he smiled. "And how he completely changed in the end?" he chuckled. "Apparently it didn't go as well as how it sounded like." he took another bike on the cake. "A devil will never be an angel. That's how it is. That's why he developed another side of him instead to take over. Get it?" he chuckled.

Kairi nodded but then she glared at him a little."Yeah I understand...but I don't get it."She said and pointed a finger at him."A human always can change if he/she really wants it and has the courage of doing so."She said and after a while sighed."I have one question."She looked at him in the eyes somewhat starting in them trying to find the answer she was looking for."Which one of you is the real one...The one I know or the one that kissed me?"

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" he chuckled. "Wait, did you really think it's a literally 'split' personality?" he laughed. "No no. It's hard to understand but basically, I'm aware of things I do. It's just sometimes, I have no control. Get it, again?" he laughed.

Her stare turned into a glare."You're hard to get."She said and shook her head."But this was a little too much...Didn't I say you have to kiss the one you like."

Vertigo scratched the back of his head. "But I like you anyway." he tilted his head. "Is that bad?"

"Wait,wait ...what?"She said and looked at him with a suprised expretion but in a kind of weird way.She then shook her head with a nevrous laugh."You...you mean in a friend like kind of way...right?"Kairi turned to Vertigo with question in her eyes.

Vertigo blinked. Then nodded. "Why?" he tilted his head. "I thought I told you that it's still too early to tell who I 'like like'?"

"And besides," he looked at her childishly. "It's your fault. You were daring me to do it." he murmured.

"MY foult?"She asked and jumped up."I know i also will do something if it's a dare.But I'll not jump from a cliff just because..."She stopped in the middle of her sentance."...Not a good example I'll probably do that...But still if someone dares me to kiss someone I won't do it."She started walking up and down."You didn't even think of the others persons feelong,did you?That's why I didn't kiss you the other day."

Vertigo was in his chibi form.
He whimpered. "Uh. That's why I said I'm sorry." he murmured to himself, not wanting to anger her at a time like this. He just continued eating his cake while listening to her nags.

Kairi glared at him one last time before a really heavy sigh left her.She dropped on the ground with her eyes closed."It's like talking to a wall."She muttered to herself then turned to him with a little smile."Ok you're forgiven...on one codition."Kairi said as she held up one finger."Do not kiss a girl again unless you have feeling for her.Or I will personaly punish you then."
