Vertigo laughed. "So you like pulling pranks. Tch tch. Naughty." he chuckled. "Oh well. We're the same." he laughed. "I like using them against my personal teachers to sneak out." he smiled.

Vertigo chuckled and patted her head. "Scream if you need anything." He turned around and walked away to ask some people for a ball.

Kairi gave him a fake smile as he said that.Then she brought her knees to her chest and placed her chin on them.She started at the water infront her and got lost in her thoughts.

Vertigo smiled and made a deep bow. "Thank you very much." he said to a group of girls just near where they were. "I'll return it as soon as we've finished." he chuckled and ran back to Kairi holding a ball. "Got it." he smiled.

"See.I didn't scream."She said with a smile and stood up."Ok then.Let's play."

Vertigo blinked. "Um. Okay." he scratched the back of his head, wondering if he somehow made her mad again.

Kairi laughed at his expression."I'm not mad."She said and placed her hands up ready to play."Come on pass the ball."

Vertigo chuckled. "How about we make it more interesting?" he smiled. "Up for a bet? A consequence for the loser." he chuckled.

Kairi raised an eyebrow as her hands dropped on her hips."What are the consequence?!"

Vertigo scratched the back of his head. "I don't really know." he chuckled. "Just came up in my head"

"Fine."She said and smirked."We'll think of it later."Kairi added and nodded."Now can we play?"

(wow. sorry I replied late. cause I have this system where I follow my posts through someone else's post in the 'view your post' thing of the forum, so that I remember my current topics.lol. confusing yea. anyhow, the 'beach' topic is right on top of the 'river' topic. so since the last post in the 'river' topic is Evangeline, the two topics are at the bottom of the list thing. oh well.lol. continue.)

Vertigo chuckled and spun the ball on his finger. "Sure." he chuckled tossing her the ball.

Kairi hit the ball causing it to go a little too far away."So what are the rules of the bet.'Cause you know I won't do ANYthing."She said with a littl laugh.

Vertigo laughed as he ran to get the ball. "It's up to you though. What do you have in mind anyway?" he chuckled.

"Hmm..I don't know.But it won't do anything with frogs."She said as she waited for him to pass the ball."What else...what else.Ah and no drinking!"

Vertigo chuckled. "No drinking. Got it." he smiled. He tossed her the ball again. "Hey, hit it properly this time." he laughed.

Kairi laughed at his comment and a little smirk formed on her face."Ok,properly..."She muttered and tossed the ball a little too low so he had to bent down quite a bit so he can get it."That works for you?"

Vertigo moved towards the ball and bent down to hit the ball back with a volley. He chuckled. "Anytime." he grinned. "Now it's your turn." he chuckled.

Kairi chuckled and jumped a little so she could reach the ball and tossed to him again."As you said 'Anytime'."

Vertigo grinned. He then jumped up and hit the ball with a sharp spike that went straight to the ground next to Kairi. He laughed and shuffled his hair. "Hmm. I didn't say anything about holding back." he smirked. "Besides, I'm going for the prize as well."

As he hit the ball Kairi knew there was almost no way to get it...almost.She fell on splits and it was enough for her to hit the ball."Don't be so full of yourself."She said as she jumped up and smiled as he was paying almost no attention.

Vertigo blinked as the ball went pass him. He turned around only to see it hit the ground. He narrowed his eyes and turned back to her. He chuckled. "Wow. Now that's unexpected." he laughed and ran to take the ball.

"You tell me."She said as she sat down hugging her legs."That freaking hurts!"She said with a painful expresion.Then a little laugh escaped her.

Vertigo came back with the ball. "Well, whoever normal girl would risk to get a bruise just to get that ball anyway." he chuckled. "If I knew, I wouldn't have hit it that hard."

Kairi placed her forhead agains her knees so the pain would dissapear and it did after a while.Still standing like that she put a finger up."You're forgeting I'm not normal."She said with a soft chuckle.

Vertigo sweatdropped. "Oh. Yea." he chuckled. "Anyway, before anything else, we really need to decide for a prize. So at least I know what I'm playing for." he chuckled.
