He's joking. Haru told herself, trying not to blush more, but failing. "Um..thank you..." she said politely, not sure how to respond since nobody had ever told her that before. Geez, get it together Haru. You're embarrassing yourself again. "That's..."Always be humble," her mother used to tell her. Very kind of you to say Cain-san."

Haru waved, dismissing the apology. "No no, it's fine. I'm just not used to being complimented is all." she offered a small smile, tilting her head slightly to see his face. "Sorry. Um..I might be able to show you around now...if you want..."

Haru smiled at him. She stood up, dusting the back of her jacket off with one hand and holding Skit (the cat) with the other. She looked at Cain. "Do you like sweets, Cain-san?"

He weakily stood up, looking like he was tired, or bord. "Depends what the sweet is..."Cain responded looking at her.

"All kinds of sweets." Haru beamed. She boldly grabbed his hand and began to lead him out of the forest. "Come on, you might like it. Our first stop is the Sweet Sweets shop."

The moon hit his eyes just riht causin his eyes to sparkle, he looked at haru. His hands in his pockets his hair shining a ray of briliant silver. Something about Haru got him to respod to everything she said. He let her drag him, his mind wondered but he focused. "I like some sweets..."He said.

Haru smiled to herself. She glanced at him, noticing how the moon reflected off his eyes as they did her now-silver ones. She was quiet, cradling Skit gently to her chest, and they headed toward Azakeru's shop.

"I helped abused pets when I lived in Hiroshima, italy, and paris.."Cain said he whistle queitly and careful, not to scare the cat and a bird landed on his arm.

"No wonder they like you." Haru smiled. "Animals can sense kind auras, you know? And you travel a lot, huh?"

He did WHAT? Haru wanted to ask. But she knew better than to pry into other people's business. If they ever wanted to tell her, they would, and she'd always listen. That's how she was. So for now, she was quiet, petting Skit gently.

"Not really touchy...."Cain said as a stray dog pounced him, licking his face. "Hi..."Cain said petting the dog.

"Oh." Haru smiled at the dog. Skit squirmed in her arms, apparently having bad experiences with stray dogs, being a stray kitten. Haru attempted to sooth it. "It's okay Fluffy-Skittles. He won't hurt you."

Cain finally got the dog to get off. He patted the dog, "Good dog...."Cain said.

"No...I didn't get pets because of my brother.."Cain said. The dog was a husky.
