"Hm I'll just remember to ask her for to teach me then."

Vertigo laughed. "Hey hey, I'm here you know. I'm also a good teacher." he chuckled. "Well, at least better than her." he laughed.

Raven turned around, "How can you be a 'better' teacher then her, when she knows more thatn you and you are learning from her?"

Vertigo blinked then scratched his head. "I'm..nicer?" he laughed knowing she has a point.

Haru yawned, stretching as she entered the kitchen. She opened the fridge and dug around for a water bottle. She found one, then exited the kitchen and headed back to her room without a word.

Vertigo noticed the new girl who arrived. He smiled and waved at her. ''Hi there. Sorry to intrude. I'm one of Raven-san's friends.'' he greeted. But the girl left without a word. ''Um, okay, nice to meet you then.''he scratched his head.

Haru wandered back into the kitchen and tossed the empty water bottle in the recycle bin. Then she began rummaging around in the fridge for sandwich supplies.In her haste she accidentally knocked over the eggs.
"Crap." she muttered and got up to find some paper towels.

Vertigo chuckled and took the roll of paper towel. ''Here, let me help you with that.'' he took 3 sheets and gave her the roll, then bent down to wipe the mess.

"Thanks..." Haru accepted to roll and bent down next to him also tending to the mess. "But I got it. It's my fault."

Vertigo chuckled. ''By the way, Raven-san baked today. You might want to try it.'' he smiled and pointed at the cake on the table. He stood up and threw the towels on the bin, then went back to take another few sheets and wiped the remains.

Haru's eyes lit up: she loved her friend's baking. "Of course I will. Thanks Raven-san," she said over her shoulder to the girl. She got another paper towel to wipe whatever she missed in the fridge. She glanced at the boy. "So you're Raven-san's friend?"

Vertigo stood up and nodded. ''Yeah. We met on my first day on Ouran.'' he smiled as he threw the remaining towels and washed his hands. ''I'm Vertigo. Vertigo Valentine.'' he chuckled.

"Vertigo...Valentine, huh?" Haru pondered this aloud as he washed her hands in the sink. She turned around to offer a soft smile. "Cool name. I'm Haru Wakahisa. Nice to meet you."

Vertigo chuckled. ''Thanks. Wow, your name sounds sweet. A genuine japanese name.'' he smiled. ''Um, what do they say again? Ah, douzo yoroshiku (nice to meet you.).'' he chuckled.

"Um..Thank you." she blushed a little and looked away sort of embarrassed. "It's actually kind of weird since I was born in America. But hajimemashite (nice to meet you)."

Raven raised an eyebrow, "are you callig Evangeline mean?" She asked as she watched Haru came to the kitchen, "by t he way thats Haru ane of the girls that live here."

Vertigo looked at Raven and chuckled. ''You can say that.'' he wasn't serious. He turned to Haru. ''Hmm. Why do I feel like I forgot something. Ah, that's right. It's been a while since I've introduced myself to another girl so,..''he walked up to her. He flicked his fingers and a blue rose appeared. ''Nice to meet you, Haru-san.'' he smiled and gave her the rose.

Haru wanted to gasp, but she wouldn't allow herself to. Her eyes did widen though. Her cheeks felt warm. Nobody had given her flowers besides her mother. And that was years ago. "O-oh..um...thank you." She took the rose. She smiled at him,"that's...very kind of you."

Vertigo smiled. ''Thanks. What's your favorite color anyway?'' he chuckled

"Um..." Haru adjusted her glasses, thinking of an answer."Black...but that makes me seem weird doesn't it?" Haru laughed nervously and rubbed the back of her head.

Vertigo laughed. ''Wow.'' he inched closer and ran his fingers around the petals of the blue rose he gave her. The color turned to black. ''We're the same. Because black is my favorite as well.'' he smiled.

"How did you..?" Haru lifted the rose to inspect it closer. She looked at his in slight shock. "Are you a magician?"

"No he just has a tallent.Yet i think that is the only thing that he is good." Raven joked.

Vertigo laughed and looked at Raven. "Wow. If I recall, you were amazed with it the first time you saw it as well. And don't worry, I'll get better at cooking sooner or later. You're teaching me after all." he chuckled.

He looked back at Haru. "No. Haha. I only know tricks involving roses." he scratched his head.

"And yes I am still trying to wok out how you doi. by the way Haru, would you like some cake?" raven asked.
