Vertigo smiled. "Well, believe it or not, I actually didn't think I hated the beach at that time." he scratched his head. "I guess I'm just in such a worried situation that I completely forgot about it. It's a friend's life after all." he chuckled.

"Yet you told me to go back tsk, what were you thing? you said you hated the beach then you go in to the ocean and tell someone who loves the beach to go."

Vertigo scratched his head. "Like I told you, at that time, I never thought I hated the beach. Besides, what do you think you can do? Even when you did that heroic act, your leg got tangled with the chain, didn't it? And if it weren't for me, and what Evangeline did, you'd probably been caught by that shark."

"I find it ironic that the one we're supposed to save ended up saving us." he chuckled.

"Thats true." Raven agreed, "and I've still got that chain."

Vertigo chuckled. "I can't believe you'll still treat that as a souvenir." he laughed.

"What, I have to have some kind of proof when I tell my mates back at home the story." She laughed.

Vertigo scratched his head and chuckled. "Well, I guess you're right." he laughed. "But wow, you sure do miss your friends back at your hometown, don't you?" he smiled.

"We are not firends, we are more like family." She laughed, "And they are not only my friends, they are Rose's friends, Eric's friends and Trent's friends to, ant two of them were even teaches as well as the house keep that dad fiered. We are just a group of people that are a big family."

Vertigo chuckled. "Wow, that's a really big group. It must be fun to have those many as 'family'." he laughed.

"Yeah, though most of the time we just looked like a bunch of idiots. so what about you, what weree friends like?"

Vertigo chuckled. "Now that I think about it, you're the first person to ask me that." he smiled. "I have lots of friends back in France, but I usually hang out with only 3. It's our small all-boys group, and we've been friends since grade school." he chuckled.

"Cool, so what did you guys do at France?" She asked.

(oh crap. I messed up. lol. i completely forgot my character didn't go to school when he was young. he had always been home schooled. lol lol. oh well.)

Vertigo chuckled. "They're actually sons of company owners associated with our own. I met them in a simple social gathering. And there we started to hang out since all of us were home schooled." he smiled. "They're fun to be with. We often break rules and do different stuffs." he chuckled.

"Breacking the rules brings back so many memorys, like the time we got drunk last year..." Raven slapped her hand across her mouth from what she had just said I did not just say that. "But most of the time we just camped at the beach." She said quickly hoping that he did not notice what she had just said.

Vertigo raised an eyebrow and inched closer to her. "Uhm, is it me, or did I really hear you say something about getting drunk last year?" he grinned. "Care to elaborate?"

"I can't believe that I actualy just said that." Raven said.

Vertigo laughed. "Well, since you said it already, might as well tell what happened." he smiled.

" Fine, okay so the last time i got drunk was at the beach, like all the other times, was when we were playing drinking uno, you know the card game right? And how ever loses has to take a shot. Aswell as having the shots I also had a couple, okay it was more then a couple of cruisers." She explaned, "The best bit was that I didn't get drunk easy." I can't believe I am telling him this.

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "But you still got drunk." he took a bite on his cake. "Were there males in your group?"

"Like I said we are mixture of people, " Raven raised her eyebrow What is he getting at

Vertigo scratched his head. "Well, don't do it again." he smiled. "At least, don't let yourself get too vulnerable." he chuckled. "I think you perfectly understand what I mean."

Raven cracked up laughing at the last part, "Sorry, but it is good to konw that you care and all but, not everyone gets drunk when we play drinking uno and all, a coulpe of my friends hate ther last so they make sure that nothing bad happens."

Vertigo shrugged. ''That's the thing. They're not drunk. They could easily use that time you were drunk to, hm, you know.'' he smiled. ''Anyway, don't do that again. At least, don't get drunk. How weak.'' he laughed.

"Weak, "she cracked up laughing, "do you want to know how much I drank that night? I could have been crowened Queen that night if it wasn't for two other people."
