Vertigo smiled. "I beat the eggs for that cake." he chuckled followed by a proud smile.

"Yeah and you were sulking becaue cooking is too hard for you." She remined him.

Vertigo glared at her childishly. "I wasn't! I was simply, tired." he chuckled.

Raven shacked her head and continued cleaning, "yuo said you gave since it was too hard and now you say you were tired. You need to make your mind up, so which one was it?"

Haru chuckled to herself at the their antics, deciding to leave them be for the moment. She turned her focus to the cake on the counter. Her eyes were bright as she subtly moved over to the island and cut herself a piece of cake. She got a fork and took a piece...
"Hya, this is delicious!" she said. "I say well done both of you." she took another bite of the cake.

"Thats good to know that you like it too." Raven smiled.

Vertigo smirked and looked at Raven. "See? She said, 'both of you'." he laughed. "My egg-beating skills are improving." he chuckled.

"So you are saying that you have cooked before? Did you lie to me?" Raven asked while acting dramatic.

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "I said my egg-beating skills were improving since Haru-san said we 'both' did good with the cooking." he chuckled.

"Yeah. I mean, you both do better than anything I could do." Haru chuckled. "I can cook but I'm not a professional like you, Raven-san. You have to teach me some time."

Vertigo laughed. "Haru-san, I just beat the eggs. Nothing special." he chuckled and pointed at Raven. "She did all the job herself. Amazing actually." he smiled.

"If you get stuck with the job, you might as well learn to do it right. And just say when you want me to teach you to cook Haru." she smiled as she finished cleaing up.

"Okay." Haru said, smiling. "And you shouldn't have to do all the cooking Raven-san. We all live here so we should take turns."

Haru's phone vibrated in her pocket. "Um...sorry guys," she smiled sheepishly when she pulled it out to look at the caller I.D. "I have to take this...See you two later? It was nice to meet you Vertigo-san. Awesome cake Raven-san!" and with that, she hurried out the kitchen with her phone to her ear, heading straight out the front door.

Vertigo blinked then waved at her. "See you then, Haru-san. Nice to meet you too." he chuckled.

"Okay, see you late Haru." Ravens said while waving.

Vertigo stretched his arms and looked at Raven. "You have pretty nice friends." he chuckled.

"true, but they are diffrent from the ones back at home." She smiled as she sat down. She grabbed her phone and looked at her messages. She sent a few then placed the phone back on the table.

Vertigo sat on a chair. "So, if you don't mind me asking, which one do you prefer to be? Here or your former country?"

Raven looked at him, "I don't really I know, i mean I aways have planned to vist Japan, it was always on my list of places to vist." She answered, "Both places hane there ups and downs, I'll just see how I go here. So what about you? France or Japan?"

Vertigo smiled. "Weather wise, France is better. But in terms of social interactions, I prefer Japan." he chuckled. "People here are very friendly."

"I'll remeber that when I go to France. People there are not as friendly." she said.

Vertigo laughed. "Ouch. I'm British after all." he chuckled. "But it's true. We're not as friendly as the Japanese." he smiled.

"I never realy thought about French people being unfriendly untill you told be. Hm and I guess I can say that the Pom can't cook." Raven said simply.

Vertigo looked at her. "Pom? What's that?"
