Suki looked at the door then back at Vertigo "Ok I'm going in" she said as she tried to ease her nerves. She went into the room and closed the door. After about ten minutes she nearly ran out the room and dived behind the couch hiding

Vertigo scratched the back of his head. "Eh, Suki-san?" he moved towards her.

"No no no no I can't do it. I can't show them the bruises nope" she said as she peered over the couch "That room if devils territory. I'd get skinned alive"

Vertigo sighed. "Suki-san. Really, there's nothing to fear. Where'd you get the idea that you'll be skinned alive anyway?" he chuckled and held a hand for her. "I told you, it's alright." he smiled.

"Not by the doctor by brother!" she nearly screamed "I'm not even supposed to make friends let alone go to the doctor unless he goes with me. He always tells me if I make friends I will be in trouble and if I'm here and he's not here to say I fell down the stairs or something I get in trouble too"

Vertigo sighed. "Suki-san. Don't you trust me at all?" he asked in a sad expression. He forced a smile. "I already told you. That I'll take care of him. Even if it means involving the power of my family." he smiled.

"I do trust you very much Vertigo. You just don't know how frightened I am. I'm trying to relax as best I can but its hard. I cant even sleep without having nightmares. It's horrible" she said as she hugged herself "I doubt doctors can help when it comes to an abusive brother"

Vertigo smiled. "They can't." he chuckled. "They're just here to treat your bruises, so relax." he smiled. "Leave your brother to me."

"I know I know I just freak out everytime they ask me to undress. I can't do it" she said as she hugged herself

Vertigo looked at her. "Suki-san, you need this treatment. No matter what the conditions are. You need to be checked to make sure." he looked at her anxiously.

Suki looked down "I know I do. I'm just not used to being fussed over by people and I don't want the doctors reaction to be bad when they see them" she said just as the doctor returned "Ah Vertigo you can come into the room with her for support. We have a curtain around an area where she can undress and you can wait in the room so she doesn't feel so scared if you would like" the doctor said kindly as he held the door open a bit more "Now Miss Shikari please come back in. Oh my I just realised who your mother is. How rude of me. Is she doing well with her theropy?" Suki nodded and shuffled toward the doctor "Yeah she's doing really well thankyou"

Vertigo nodded at the doctor. "Ayame-san, she's a really afraid, so please treat her as gentle as possible." he smiled and stood up. He held his hand for Suki.

Ayame smiled "Of course Vertigo you know me gently as a butterfly" Suki took his hand and followed Ayame into the room "Now Suki just go being that curtain and dress down to you're underwear then sit on the bed. Let me know when you are ready" Ayame said with a smile. Suki just noded and went behind the curtain and atarted to undress

Vertigo waited patiently. He was still worried about her condition, but kept his calmness as to be there to Suki.

"I'm ready" she said quietly as Ayame smiled "Coming" she said as she turned to look at Vertigo "And Vertigo don't look so worried. She'll be ok" she said as she entered throught the curtain. After about thirty minutes Ayame came back writing on her clipboard "Alright Suki please get dressed and then we will head down to xray"

Vertigo was tapping his foot on the ground, then the doctor came back. He smiled. "So far so good?"

Ayame just looked at him "So what exactly happened to her and I want the truth. You do realise one of her ribs may have punctured her lung thats why we are going to go down to xray" she said with a disproving look on her face. Plus I want to get an internal organ scan done as well. Her medical records show she has weak organs so I want to see if she's been taking her meds" Just as Ayame finished talking Suki came out fully changed

Vertigo looked at Suki, then to the doctor. "It's alright, Ayame-san." he smiled. "You don't need to know the reason. It's something personal." he smiled. "Just do everything you can to treat her."

Ayame looked between Suki and Vertigo "Hmmm well alright then" she said as she walked down the corridor "Come on you two lets get down to xray" Suki ran over to Vertigo and hugged his arm and tugged him with her

Vertigo chuckled. "So, how'd it go?" he smiled as he asked. "They didn't skin you alive, did they?" he chuckled.

"No they didn't just did the routine checkup and stuff" she said as she pulled him toward xray with her

Vertigo laughed and patted her head. "I told you, right?" he smiled.

Suki smiled and nodded "Yeah you did" she said as she kissed his cheek. They reached the xray department and Ayame turned to look at Suki "Alright Suki we are just going to give you two xrays. One for your bones and one for your organs. Go into this room and the doctors will look at you. I need to talk to Vertigo" she said as she opened the door and let Suki in. When Suki was in the room Ayame turned to look at him. "I asked Suki what happened and all she said was that she wanted you to tell me "

Vertigo looked at Ayame. He smiled. "Sorry, Ayame-san. But as far as I remember, she told me that she doesn't want to involve or bother anyone. And don't worry, I got everything under control." he chuckled. "Besides, she didn't tell me to tell you. So yeah. I hope you understand. I don't want to betray that trust."

Ayame smirked "Was just checking Vertigo. You really do care for her don't you. I've not seen you like this with anyone for a while. She's good for you" she said as she wrote in her clipboard. Just then one of the other nurses came rushing out the room "We have a problem. A real big one." she said as she handed Ayame some xray pictures and organ scans. Ayame looked at them and nearly choked. Suki had three fractured ribs and one protuding into her lung. Her organ scan showed that her liver and kidneys were failing due to lack of medicine
