An area to play sports

"Wait, WHAT?! are you serious?! There's no way I'll win against you." she whimpered as she followed her to the starting line. As she reached it, she bent down to adjust the wheels of her rollerblades, folding it to the down until it was no longer a rollerblades but a normal pair of shoes. "Ano.. are we really going to do this? Ahehe.." she laughed nervously.

"Why not, if you like you can keep the wheels on the shoes, if you are worried."

"Hey, that would be a handicap for you. I wanna win fair." she grinned boastfully. She walked to the starting line and bent down to get into position.

"Ready.... Set ...go!" Rain said out loud. She letted Evangeline have a five second head start before she started to run.

Evangeline grunted as she looked beside her towards Rain. She hadn't started yet as well. "I soooo knew you would do that~" she pouted. "Hey, didn't your master tell you not to underestimate your opponent?" she chuckled.

"I only have teachers for my martial arts, boxing and rhythmic gymnastics, not running." she smiled.

"Ahaha~ still.. I'm sure you've heard that befo-" she then dashed away after distracting Rain with her talk. "Neahaha! Normal humans have about 10 seconds recovery time before they can completely concentrate. So even if you run now, your peripheral nervous system takes about 10 sec. to go back to your normal speed. Which means I have 10 seconds head start! Neahahaha.. I love it when I do that." she grinned as she ran faster. "Hehe~"

Rain sptirted behind her. Who said I was normal. she smiled as she continued to sprint

Evangeline smiled as she ran. It's been a while since she had a race with someone, and it actually felt good to have exercise once in a while.

Rain watched as they past the 50 meter mark and smile, looks like she didn't notice it she continues to run as she got beside her.

Evangeline could already feel her breath quickening. Then she flinched as she saw Rain beside her. "Gah! What the? Eh? What are you doing here?!" she exclaimed in surprise as she quickened her pace and dashed at full speed. "Yossssh!~ "

Rain speed up, "Hm, that is now 100 meters."She said as she caught up to her.

"Hehe.. I know, right?" Evangeline smiled as she slowed into a jog, and eventually stopped. Then almost dropped dead on the ground. "Gah! I think I'm gonna die of exhaustion." she grunted as she rapidly panted. She laid on her back and spread her arms aside, still catching her breath. She looked up at Rain. "Aren't you.. even.. tired?"she asked, taking breaths between pauses.

Rain paused at the word dying, "No not realt, running can't kill you, so I'll think you'll be fine."

"Ahaha~ I know.. It's just an expression of mine." she laughed lightly. "Wow, you look like you didn't even run."

"um, thank." Rain didn't know what to say, "I guess I just do alot of sport."

Evangeline smiled. She got up and dusted of her clothes. She unfastened some top buttons of her shirt to let some air. "Apparently I'm only good at swimming since it's not that tiring. Ahehe~"

"Swiming is nice." She agreed as she sat down.

Evangeline smiled, "I guess you won the race. Darn. My awesome plan didn't work" she laughed as she shuffled through her pockets to look for a ponytail.

"And what was this 'awsome plan of yours?"' Rain asked.

Evangeline pouted. "You know, the 10 second ahead of you thing." she chuckled.

Rain, smiled for the first time, "training my dear, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, if you train hard then I guess that rule wont apply."

"Ooooh, you must be really strong." she beamed. "Since when have you been training anyway?"

"ummm," Rain looked up, "well six i guess. I can't really remeber."

"Woah. That's superb. I guess I can already understant why you were so athletic like that." she laughed.
