"So what about you, what are your hobbies?" Rain asked

"I'm up for anything interesting, really." she chuckled, "And that excludes schoolwork of course. It's just a pain." she pointed out. "Anyhow~ I'm more on gaming consoles, clothes, and music instruments though.. hehe"

"Mh, are there any good clothing stores around here?" Rain asked, "I sorta brought half a suitcase of stuff with me so I might as well restock at some point."

"Hahaha! Of course! And I know perfectly well the best stores out here." she grinned excitedly. "How about you? What are your hobbies?"

"Rythmic gmnastics, singing, working at the resort, playing with my Aunts sworeds, reading, boxing, I want to start kick boxing basicly any form of fighting." She said. She couldn't be bother saying all of them, "and of course hanging out with my friends."

Vertigo walked to the Sporting Grounds for a nice sparring with friends. He went to the changing room and changed into his martial arts uniform then walked out and smiled.

Rain smiled at Evangeline, she looked like see was busy, so she thought she would just leave her for a while. Rane walked back to the race track. She did a few streches before taking off down the track. Her hair flew in the wind, she felt free. She felt like all of her worries were gone.

Vertigo walked inside the dojo room, just near the racing track, and looked around towards the people all over. He was up for some hard sparring, and he will only hold back a bit. He tilted his head from side to side with a grin, and challenged them.

Rain stopped running as she herd some mummering going on Ooo I think it is a challange,. Are they chickening out?Rain walked closer to the crowed. "I'll do it." She smiled sweetly. I'll just act all cute and innosent and then when the fight starts he'll wish he never asked for a dual.

Vertigo finished all his opponents in a matter of minutes. He stood in the center with all the beaten up players lying on the floor. He chuckled and scratched his head. "Sorry. I think I overdid it a bit." he laughed.

Then he heard a girl's voice. He turned around and saw Rain. He raised an eyebrow. Her face was somehow familiar, but he can't remember where he had seen her before. He chuckled. "Sorry. I don't fight girls though." he smiled politely.

Rain let out a load say, "thats what they all saw when the runner up from the world martial arts compititon say when she challenges them. They just chicken out. " She walked around and looked at one of the betten up playsers. "That must of hurt." she muttered, she looked up, "I want to have a shot."

Vertigo smiled when he heard that she was a runner up in the world championship. He bowed slightly and straightened, then smiled. "Then it will an honor to fight against you." he complimented and faced her. "Ladies first."

Rain smiled as she grabbed on of the sticks on the floor she threw it in the ait and caugth it, "You should never be polidht when fighting, you must alway be alert and never let your gaurd down." She said before she charged towards him with the stick infront of her.

Vertigo scratched his head nervously. "Ah, is that so? I just thought it'd be courteous if I let you attack first." he smiled cheerfully. He placed his right foot back perpendicular to his left to form an L shape. He then closed his right fist and placed it on his back, while his left raised in front of him with his elbows bent slightly and his hand into a close palm as he waited for her to attack.

Rain smiled, Silly little boy. When she was only a few metre away from him pushed the stich in the ground and used it as a step to jump of, she jumped over him and landed beside him, with her nails right beside his neck, "These are sharp dont do any sudden movements, I'd hate to hurt you." She whispered.

Vertigo closed his eyes and smiled. "Impressive.. Ms. fighter. But I actually already expected you'd do something like that."he chuckled. His right fist which was on his back flicked over and immediately grabbed her wrist with an incredible speed. He side-stepped and turned, causing him to move immediately behind her, then pinned her arm on her back while his other hand took a hold of her other wrist. He smiled. "Rain Swan? If I can remember correctly. Hehe."

"Correct, and you might be?" She gracefully but quicky and kicked him across the legs causing him to fall on the ground, "Mh, you look like one of the contenders from the martial arts compertiton, but which one?"

Vertigo raised his knee to block the kick. He chuckled and was still holding her from behind. "France. And Europe.. National and Intercontinental champion respectively. I haven't tried the world tournament though since I was searching for someone here in Japan." he smiled and finally let her go.

He took a couple of steps back and bowed respectfully. "It was nice sparring with you. But I told you, I don't hurt girls." he smiled.

Rain looked at the stick and grabbed it, "Are you chikening out, a scratch or two won't hurt me..." Rain vision started to go blurry and change, "blood," She whispered fanlty as she saw the blood on the ground from the earlest memory from her past. She blinked a couply of times before got back to normal, "but I guess you had plenty of sparing with these guys, that you'd need a breck." She said as she walked to the side where her sports bag was she. She grabbed a bottle of water, "hm, from what you told me you must be Vertigo Valentine, correct?"

Vertigo immediately ran towards her to support her when he saw she became a bit unstable with the sight of blood. "A-are you alright?" he asked politely. "I'm not really tired of sparring with a couple of small fries. We can have another round if you want." he smiled. "And yes, I am Vertigo Valentine. A pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Rain Swan." he extended his arm for a handshake.

"i'm fine." Rain said, "It's a normal thing." She muttered, The memory that haunts me, it feels more real here, but why? Was it somewhere nere here that this happened in? "Sure another round will be great." She smiled as she took of her shoes. She put the water and shoes back in her bag. This time she was going to go bare fook she quickly grabbed some stuff out of her bag and put it under her long sleeves. And tyed are red ribbon around her arm to hold it in, "lets make it more fun and make a bet, you seem strong, if I win you can teach me and if I lose... well you can pick what ever." She smiled.

Vertigo blinked, then chuckled. "Wait, if you win, I'll teach you? Isn't that supposed to be the other way around since it only means you're stronger than me?" he smiled and took a couple of steps back towards the center. "But I accept your challenge. I like bets in the first place." he chuckled and took his fighting stance.

"So what happens if you win?" Rain asked as she got ready.

Vertigo smiled and shook his head. "It's a secret." he said teasingly.

"Fine, but this tim you can start." She said, "but I have one question I didn't tell you much about me, how did you know who I was?"
