The River...

Evangeline nodded childishly, then rubbed her eyes and yawned. "Yeaaa~ And hey." she grunted. "No stealing." she narrowed her eyes.

She sat down and brought her knees to her chest, then hugged her legs. "Ugh. But the only thing I hate about this place is when I keep forgetting to bring a jacket or coat. It's freezing!" she sneezed.

"I won't steal it.I promise."She said and walked to the girl and patted her head.Then Kairi went around picking up little sticks and plasing them in a circle of rock.She put some leaves under the sticks and took out a lighter."I hope it still works...after that quick swim of mine."Kairi muttered as she looked at it.Then a little sigh left her as she bent down and not to long after a fre started burning."Here.Come and stay here or you'll catch a cold."

"Oooh, you can do that? You definitely should teach me some time." Evangeline hopped next to her and reach out to the fire, warming her hands. "Hihi. So nice~"

Kairi smiled at how childish she was..more then her.She sat down next to Evangeline and also reached out to the fire."Yeah it is."She said with a small laugh.

Evangeline tilted her head. "Ano.. only one question..." she beamed. "Wouldn't we burn the whole bridge with this thing? The bridge is made of wood after all."

Kairi had her eyes closed and listened to the girl.Her eyes quickly flew open when she heard her question."Shit!"She said and stood up puting the fire down quicly.A loud sigh left her as she walk away from the bridge and started another fire near the rivers bank.When that was done she looked at her lighter."The gass finished."She muttered to herself but shook it off and sat by the fire once again.

Evangeline blinked, not really sure what happened. She felt cold again and so simply moved and sat next to the fire. "I cannot believe you started a fire without even thinking of that." she snickered.

"That's me..miss always-gets-in-trouble-for-not-thinking."She said and pointed at herself with a little laugh.

Evangeline tilted her head, followed by a chuckle. "Oh riiiight. In short, Ms. Clumsy. Hehehee~" she beamed.

Kairi laughed again."Or that."She said and brought her finger to the fire."Wonder what will happen if I let in get burned really bad."She muttered to herself.Not that she was going to do it,she just wondered.

Evangeline looked up and hummed. "The first thing that came up to my mind is, well, really painful." She pulled Kairi's hand back. "So yeaaaa~, don't even think about it."

Kairi smiled and nodded and pointed at her chin."I got burned on the chin when I was around 10.It wasn't fun..."She muttered the last part.

Evangeline hugged her legs and rested her chin on her knees. "Oooooh~ Story time. Do tell, do tell." she beamed as she nodded.

Kairi laughed at her reaction."It's not really a story.I just placed the iron on my chin...out of curiousity."

Evangeline blinked twice. "Eh? Isn't that just called, hrrrm, what's the word again? oh yeah, 'stupidity'". She laughed. "That's the most bizarre curiosity I've ever heard. Even a 3 year old knows it'll hurt to touch an iron. Can't you even feel the steam?"

KAiri shook her head."Hey I'm not proud of it!But I thought i'd be interesting to find out what it will feel to burn my face."She said with a nervous smile.

Evangeline gave her a blank look. "With an iron?" she chuckled and warmed her hands against the fire. "I guess we're the same~ Ahahaha~ Curiosity takes over me sometimes as well. Although I don't usually do obvious stuff like burning my chin with an iron."

She rubbed her hands against her shoulder, feeling cold again.

"Well I doubt that you;ve broken your hand from falling from the coutch too."She said as she rubbed the back of her head with a sweatdrop.

"Bahahaha~ No." she looked to the side and scratched her cheek. "Only when I fell from the bed. Ehehe."

Kairi looked at the girl with questioning look."Really?How about you broke it two more times while playing football."She said with a laugh.

Evangeline shrugged. "No." she scratched her cheek again. "Only when I played basketball. Ahehe."

"Nice."Kairi said and looked at the fire trying to thing of something else she'd done."Oh I almost forgot."She turned to Evangeline and turned her head up reviling her neck."See here."She said and poinded at a quite a lond scar on her neck."I cut it when I was around 7."

Evangeline leaned forward to see the scar. "Woaaaah~" she poked it. "Why did you cut yourself? You're lucky you're still alive."

"I didn't cut myself!I'm not that dumb."She said with a laugh."Actually I was with some friends and day dared me that I can't get on one broken swing and I proved them wrong.But when I was getting down I tripped and cut myself on the swing..."She said with another fake smile."Well I guess I cut myself but it was a mistake...."

She kept poking the scar without removing her eyes from it. "Ooooooh. That must have hurt, like, A LOT. So, how did you survive? I mean, you know, it's a cut on the neck after all."
