Vertigo laughed. "So you like pulling pranks. Tch tch. Naughty." he chuckled. "Oh well. We're the same." he laughed. "I like using them against my personal teachers to sneak out." he smiled.

Vertigo jumped back and volleyed the ball in return to Kairi. "Yeah, but I thought I already said that I scored a point at the very beginning, before you even scored and before there was a bet. That's why we ended with a tie, and now we're doing it over again with whoever wins the first 5 balls." he chuckled.

"Hmm."Kairi muttered as she didn't like it this way-with her having no points.She jumped up to catch the ball and sended it to his feet with no chance for him to save it.

Vertigo laughed as he simply went down to his knees and returned the ball back with a soft volley. "Ow. Now I think I know how you feel." he chuckled as he waved his hands repeatedly to ease the pain. "It's been a while since I played volleyball."

"It's no fair."She muttered to herself as her sight was focused on the ball with a little glare.Kairi tossed the ball back easily.

Vertigo tossed the ball back as well. He chuckled. "So, do I hear a surrender?" he grinned.

Kairi looked at the boy after she tossed it back.She raised an eyebrow and smiled."Seriously?Me and surrender?"

Vertigo laughed. "Fine then. I guess I'll keep cheating then to finish this game." he grinned as he jumped up to make another spike. But since it was evening, he couldn't see much. His hand missed the ball, which simply landed on the ground. He blinked then scratched the back of his head. "Oops." he chuckled.

Kairi started at him then at the ball with emotionless face.Then she bit he lip and tried really hard to supress the laugh that was coming.But didn't really do it as the next thing she knew was that she was laughing and holding her stomach."Ok,ok..."She said after a while still laughing a little."That doesn't count.We're still 2:0"

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "Hey, you didn't have to laugh that hard." he muttered as he picked up the ball and tossed it back to her. "Unlike you, I play by the rules." he chuckled. "I guess that makes it 2:1." he smiled.

KAiri tossed the ball back at him and smiled."No it's still 2:0.I'd feel bad for taking a point that I didn't make...It's you who missed the ball."Kairi said and started laughing again.

Vertigo laughed. "Suit yourself." he went down on one knee again, and made a direct and sharp volley return.

"Come on!This will not work everyday."She said as she saved the ball and tossed it to him without much effort.

Vertigo jumped up, looking at the ball now and used a move that he'd never used for ages. He hit the ball with a hard spike and perfect accuracy that it went straight pass the top of her head and hit the ground right behind where she stood.

Just on instinkt Kairi kicked the ball with her leg going back.She looked as the ball went to Vertigo not really sure what happened."huh?"Was all that came from her.

Vertigo's jaw dropped. "You just ruined my cool move." he chuckled as he returned the ball with a one-hand straight volley.

Kairi didn't pay much attention to the boy infront of her as she was looking at her leg.And so she didn't noticed the ball coming to her..and it hit her on the head."Ow!"

Vertigo flinched and ran towards her. "I'm so sorry." he stopped in front of her. "Are you alright?"

"It's not fair!Now it's 3:0!"She said as she was glaring at the ball infront of her.KAiri twitched and kicked the ball rather hard.Enough to make it go all the wai in the water."Shit!"She said and ran towards it diving in.

Vertigo caught a hold of her arm before she could dive in. "Hey hey." he chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll get it." he smiled and let her go. He walked to the ocean, until it was waist deep, and took the ball. He returned back with it. "Here." he handed the ball and looked at her closely. "Um, are you hurting anywhere? Besides your arms that is."

Kairi looked at him as he went to get the ball."You didn't have to do that."She muttered still glaring a little at the ball."My hands?"She muttered and looked at them wondering why would they hurt.

Vertigo chuckled. "Unlike you, I enjoy called water." he smiled and looked at her hands. "Your hands are hurting? How come?" he looked at her. "I'm talking about when I hit you in the face." he chuckled. "Again, I deeply apologize for that."

Kairi laughed and scratched the back of her head."No need to apologize."She said and sat down."But what do you say if we take a little rest?"Kairi asked with a smile.

Vertigo nodded and sat beside her. "Anytime." he smiled. He looked at her. "Are you sure you aren't hurting anywhere?"

"I'm fine..."She said with a small laugh and lay down looking up at the sky."What about you aren't you tired?"

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "Are you serious? You're already tired with only 3 rounds?" he chuckled. "Imagine if it was a real game having at least 21 rounds." he laughed.
