Vertigo chuckled. "I thought you trust me?" he smiled. "Open your eyes, and enjoy the scenery." he chuckled. "You'll love it. Whatever happened to your sense of danger?" he laughed. "I'm only doing this with you because I trust that you're actually matured enough to take care of yourself."

Ame slowly opened her eyes and looked ahead, "I j-just don't like high places..." she said. She held onto his shirt and shivered from the cool breeze, "My sense of danger is somewhere in my room...I do believe that it didn't feel like coming along with me today." she said giving a light laugh.

Vertigo blinked,then smiled. ''Hmm? So ms. mysterious is actually afraid of heights?'' he chuckled. He narrowed his eyes as he prepared for another leap towards the next roof. ''Relax. Just think of it as a simple cable car.'' he chuckled.

Ame grimaced, "I am not fond of them to say the least. I am not afraid..." she mumbled the last part. She shook her head, "It isn't that easy as you say it is.."

Vertigo chuckled. He leaped to the next roof, but as he landed on it, he lost his balance and began staggering back towards the edge.

Ame let out a scream, "O-oi! Vertigo!" she said as she tighten her grip. She closed her eyes shut and took slow breaths. "P-p-please don't d-drop me.."

Vertigo simply placed one foot behind to stop. Then he laughed out loud holding his stomach. ''Hahahaha! You should've seen your expression. It's priceless!'' and he continued to laugh. Overtime, he settled down. ''Haha. You told me you trust me, didn't you? That's why there's no way I'll ever ruin that trust.'' he smiled and continued to dash forward.

Ame growled lowly before hitting him on the head, "Oi. That was not nice!" she said before sighing, "I do trust you. I just don't like it when I am high up and on someone's back! Not of the norm now is it?"

Vertigo blinked. "You don't trust me?" he lowered his eyes and slowed into a walk. He jumped down to the ground and continued to walk. "Oh, okay." he said softly.

Ame tugged on his hair, "I am spontaneous. I do trust you." she said before sighing, "Sorry."

Vertigo chuckled, then laughed out loud again. "Hahaha! I love your reactions. They're totally priceless!" he grinned. "Do you really think I would be down by something as simple as that? Hell no. " he chuckled. "As you said, I'm pretty competitive."

Ame let out a low growl, "Oi...I will bite. You better watch yourself." she said in a sinister voice.

Not that I wouldn't mind biting him...

Vertigo chuckled. "Yes your majesty." he teased. They were getting closer and he already spotted the lake.

Ame mumbled under her breath, "So now you want to be my servant..." She shook her head.

Vertigo stopped on a random roof to rest. (lol). He didn't really need it, but Ame must have been pretty tired with high places. He went down on one knee for her to step out.

Ame slid off his back slowly and sat on the roof. She pulled her legs up to her chest and made a face (lol I would be like YAY! ROOOOF! But I have different personalities each day), "Vertigo are you tired?"

Vertigo turned around and sat, facing her. "No. But I think you needed a rest. You're not good with high places after all." he chuckled.

Ame looked up at him with a pale-ish face. She sighed, "I fell from a Ferris Wheel when I was a child." she said before shrugging, "I haven't been to one since."

Vertigo's mouth dropped open. "Woah! A ferris wheel!" he laughed. "Wow. Good thing you survived." he teased with a grin.

(Ame-san, honestly, I think I like your previous avatar. The one with the blue veil thing. Because the midnight-blue eyes are clearly vivid there. lol^^ and the whole pic is really awesome. Just my opinion though. lol)

(It is the same person. It isn't on this pc that I am using but I will change it xD cause this one is annoying me badly.)

Ame tapped her chin, "My mother, before I turned 6, told me my eyes were black. I didn't understand at the time but now that I think about...a doctor said the something about my genetics got scrambled and confused.."

She sighed, "Or she could have lied to me."

(wow. good instant change of subject. we were talking about ferriswheels and now about your eyes. anyhow, lol^^)

Vertigo was confused. "But your eyes aren't black. They're dark blue." he scratched the back of his head. "Now why would your mother lie to you?"

(She fell >> Dramatic trauma to the head can cause it.)

Ame laughed, "Trauma to the head cause that I think. I could be wrong as well as my mother." she smiled at his confused expression, "I didn't expect you to follow on what I was saying or to understand it."

Vertigo clicked his fingers. "Ah! I get it now!" he chuckled. "So you were actually born with black eyes, but when you fell from the ferris wheel, a genetic mutation altered the color and became midnight blue." then he scratched the back of his head. "That's obviously a lie." he said, "Because it's impossible to alter the color of your eyes with a simple fall from the ferris wheel, unless artificially engineered through modern science. The color of the eyes is a polygenic inheritance, influenced by more that one allele. So that means even though you mutated one or two alleles from the fall, the color won't change. And it's basically impossible to mutate them all." he explained briefly.
