The River...

Kairi looked from the girl to the boy next to her then to the man on the ground.She then remembered what Vertigo looked like when he turned to her back then.He sure is scary sometimes.

She looked at her bleeding left arm.

Vertigo narrowed his eyes as he stood up then tore the left sleeve of his uniform from the shoulder. He crouched down again and moved closer to her arm. "Kairi-san, do you happen to have disinfectants as well as medical kits in your bag?" he asked her, still looking at the wound.

"What happened?" he asked the girl as he carefully wrapped the cloth around the arm. "This isn't much, but it'll stop the bleeding for now."

"The guy...Cut me...."Akahana said, still alittle freaked.

Kairi went through her back and took out a bandage and a little bottle of alchohol.She handed them to Vertigo and stepped back leaving him take care of the wound.

Vertigo smiled. "Wow, Kairi-san. You should have given me that before I tore off my shirt." he smiled again, but took the bandages and alcohol anyway. "Um, Kairi-san, do you know how to tend wounds?" he looked at her then chuckled. "Because I'm not really good at it."

He looked back to the girl. "Who is he anyway?"

"One of my dad's agents....."Akahana said.

Kairi sighed and took the bandage and the alchohole from Vertigo.She really didn't like blood.She motioned the boy to move then sat next to the girl taking her arm."This will hurt."She said and took the piece of clouthing off and squizzed her hand a little so the blood was running.She then spilt some alchohol on the wound and let it stay like that for a moment still squizing.Then she wraped the bandage around her arm and looked at it them smiled."That should do it."

"Arigato~"Akahana said.

Vertigo stood and placed his hands on his pockets and walked over to the man. "Hmm?" he looked down at him. "An agent of your father?" he stepped on the man's head, further pushing his face on the ground. "Now why would he send someone to hurt you?" he smiled, twisting his foot side to side as he kept stepping it harder due to his frustration.

"My dad dislikes me...Because I was a "Mistake" He called me a devil in human form cuz mom died after I was born...."Akahana said.

"Vertigo!!"Kairi screamed as she looked at him."Do you want to kill him?!...That wasn't a question you should answer."She said and stood up as she leaned on a tree behind her."Just leave him alone.."

Vertigo smiled. "Then he's nothing but a useless person. The next time he says that to you, tell him to kill himself to experience what being a devil is like." he smiled again. He never talks to someone like this, but his temper was taking over his usual calm self.

He bent down and looked at the man. He held his dislocated shoulder, and twisted it back to normal. He did the same with the dislocated knee. He smiled at him. "Now scram, you worthless piece of trash. Go cry to your boss and tell him to say his last prayers when he meets Valentine Vertigo. Have a nice day." he smiled again and stood and walked to Kairi.

"You alright?" he asked.

She glared at him a little but turned to the ground."I'm fine."She said not really putting any type of emotion in her voice of face.

Akahana sighed.

Vertigo blinked. "Now, what did I do again to upset you?" he asked childishly.

Then looked over to the other girl. "Haha! Don't worry. That was all a joke." he smiled. "I know you still respect your father. He's still your family after all." he smiled.

"I don't care for my father....But I Have to respect him for mother's sake...." Akahana said.

"You didn't do anything."She said n a cold voice which was kind of weird to see Kairi soo..soo serious.She then walked to the girl and streched her arms."Are you hungry?There must be some cakes left."She said with a little smile.

"I'm alittle hungery..."Akahana said.

Vertigo distanced himself far from Kairi. "What's with her mood swings!" he thought as he shuffled his hair and looked up. He sighed. "Geez, stupid agent. Now I have to do at least a hundred push ups." he sighed again.

"Ok let's go."She said and smiled once again at the girl and walked to where they had the things placed.Not long after they were there and she took a bottle of ice tea and leaned on another tree.She took a sip out f the bottle and poited at one of the bags."There are a few more cakes.Help yourself."

"Okay Arigato~"Akahana said.

Vertigo was already sitting on the grass, eating his cake cheerfully. "Ah, nothing beats sweets." he nodded.

Akahana sat down and got a cake, she took a bite, "Kore wa yoi desu!"Akahana sang.

Kairi took the last few sips of the ice tea and slid down so she was stting with her knees infront her chest.Not long after she started playng with the bottle in her hands.
