The River...

Akahana soon finished her cake and smiled.

Vertigo looked at Kairi, still munching his cake. "Really, now. What's wrong?" he asked anxiously.

Akahana looked at Kairi and was curious herself.

"As I said...Nothing's wrong."She said focused on her bottle but thought it was the moment for any of the thoughts at her head so she turned to them and gave a small almost perfect smile.

Vertigo raised an eyebrow, but shrugged and continued eating. "Kairi-san, you can be weird sometimes." he chuckled.

Akahana smiled.

Kairi gave a small laugh as she turned back to the bottle."I'm weird all the time..just sometimes it's more annoying then others."She muttered.

Vertigo finished eating his cake. "Ah. Really, nothing beats sweets." he chuckled. He rubbed his hands together and breathed against them. "I'm fine with everything. But is it okay for you two to stay up this late? I think your parents are already worrying."

"I don't live with my father...."Akahana said.

Kairi smiled and shook her head."I don't have to worry about mine.There is no way they could be worried."She said and placed the bottle next to her and looked at them."And after all I'm leaving alone in my apartment as I haven't seen my room-mates in a while."

Akahana streached and laied back.

Vertigo was already fast asleep on the ground after a nice couple of cakes.

Akahana looked at the sky.

Kairi smiled as she saw he was asleep.She stood up and walked to him and took off his jaket and placed it on him so he won't catch a cold.She was still pretty mad at him but even so she shook her head with a small smile and went back to her sit.

Akahana looked at the nightsky, "Hey whats it like to have a love life?" Akahana asked.

"Love life?"Kairi questioned and looked at the girl with a suprised look."You're not asking the right person for that."She said with a soft smile."I don't know."

"Sorry I asked aloud~"Akahana said lauhing alittle.

Kairi nodded with a smile."It's ok."She then turned to the sky.It's complicated..so far...She thought to herself as a little sigh left her and she closed her eyes.

Akahana closed her eyes.

Vertigo woke up when his phone rang. He sat up and took his phone from his pocket and answered it.
"Hmm. Hello." he said, still sleepy. "Hmm. Hi there."
"I'm studying at the library. Go tell dad to stop pretending like he cares. It really doesn't suit him." Vertigo yawned and rubbed his eyes. "Right. Okay. Oh, and remind Vladimir that my cat is not a stuff toy. Right. Bye." and he clicked his phone off.

He looked at Kairi and the girl. "Sorry I fell asleep. What'd I miss?" he smiled.

Kairi looked at him for a moment or two.She then shook her head and smiled."Nothing much..."

Vertigo scratched the back of his head. "Hmm. Okay." he looked around for another cake.

Kairi thought of asking a question for the call but decided to just let it go.She turned her head up and looked at the branches as she thought she heard a sond.Just a bird...She then turned to the sky and not long after closed her eyes.

Vertigo stretched his arms. He stood up and walked over to Kairi, then took off the jacket she placed on him, and returned it by placing it over her. He stood and stretched again, then walked over to the river and washed his face.

Kairi was brought out of her thoughts when he placed the jacket on on her again.She turned to him as he walked to the river."You don't have to give it to me.I'm not cold."She sad with a small smile.
